“Ocean Life” is one of the first American illustrations of an underwater ecosystem. The stunning watercolor was designed by James M. Sommerville (1825-1899) and painted by Christian Schussele (1824-1879) for a scientific pamphlet in 1859.

This 1,489-piece version is a numbered limited edition with only 250 ever made. Each puzzle comes in a custom-made pine box, which includes a Zen Puzzles coffee mug, a Birch Wood magnet, puzzle piece popper, stickers, and a poster. The poster will help for reference when assembling this enormous 31-inch x 23-inch wooden puzzle. Charming design elements in this puzzle include up to 50 figural pieces of ocean creatures. False borders and corners and the intricate design give this puzzle a very challenging difficulty level. This beautiful scene is perfect for fine art enthusiasts and ocean lovers alike.

Zen Puzzles™ are hand-designed, heirloom-quality wooden jigsaw puzzles. You or a loved one will delight in the elegance and whimsy of these unique, collectible puzzles. Each is crafted in America using Giclee prints and eco-friendly materials.
